S-SEGW
The setcom Security Gateway (S-SEGW) is a standalone software module that can be used in conjunction with testing Generic Access Network (GAN) often referred to as UMA.
Supporting either a single connection or multiple connections the S-SEGW is scalable to meet the demands of your test requirements and at a fraction of the cost of a carrier grade SEGW.
Connections to the S-SEGW are established through an S-CAT 6000 series test system, or through an Ethernet connection from virtually anywhere such as a live network or a 3rd party test platform such as an Agilent 8960 or Anritsu 8470.
Using a built-in AAA server, the S-SEGW supports all the authentication and encryption algorithms used in 3GPP for GAN.
- IKEv2 with EAP-SIM or EAP-AKA for registration and authentication of mobile users
- IPSec encryption to ensure privacy for VoIP traffic and data services
The 3GPP standard GAN certificate and a setcom certificate are pre installed. If a custom certificate is required it can be installed onto the S-SEGW, these certificate settings are then used enabling any device using that certificate to make a connection with the S-SEGW. Thereby reducing system set up time.
S-SEGW Datasheet
Designed to support customers developing the Generic Access Network (also referred to as UMA) stack and applications on mobile devices. The S-SEGW is designed for use in a test network supporting multiple instances per machine at a fraction of the cost of a carrier grade SEGW supporting 100,000+ connections.
